Horsies
This is my collection home page! I collect G1, G2, and G3 ponies. I'm a BIG fan of pegasi and I'm currently trying to get more of those! I'm not a big completionist, but I'd very much like to own all winter-themed ponies at some point. Unfortunately some of those are ridiculously expensive so pray for lucky thrift store finds I guess.
Quick summary of the different MLP generations for people who are unfamiliar: over the years, there have been different lines of MLP toys, which collectors have termed 'generations'. Generation 1 ran from 1982 to 1993 (USA) or 1995 (Worldwide) and is characterized by relatively large, chunky ponies. Generation 2 ran from 1997 to 1999 (USA) or 2003 (Worldwide) and it was characterized by slimmer, more elegant ponies with crystals in their eyes. Generation 3 ran from 2003 to 2011, and its ponies resembled G1's ponies, though they were smaller and slightly slimmer. Generation 4 may be the most well-known generation thanks to the wildly popular My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic animated series, and Generation 5 is the newest generation. The toy lines look very different from the previous generations, and have a much more limited cast of characters. Due to these things, I'm personally uninterested in collecting them.
I really don't know how to apply filters and javascript scares me so I'll try to figure that out later. In the meantime, I've divided my collection into a few pages to make browsing it a little easier; the ponies are ordered by release year. All ponies in the 'faves' list are also listed in the lists of their respective generations. As of right now, all links are up, but the pages are unfinished.
