Wraps with Italian Chicken, Bell Pepper, Onion, and Spinach
Ingredients
- Tortillas
- Marinated Chicken
- Bell Pepper
- Onion
- Raw Spinach
- Garlic Sauce
For The Marinade
- Olive Oil (2 spoons)
- Lemon Juice (1 spoon)
- Italian Herbs (3 teaspoons)
- Garlic Powder (2 teaspoons)
- Paprika Powder (half a teaspoon)
- Chilliflakes (to taste)
Preparation
- At least an hour before cooking, begin marinating the chicken. Dice the chicken, put it in a ziplock bag, and add the ingredients for the marinade. Mix well until evenly coated, then set aside in the fridge until it's time to cook.
- Preheat a pan with oil or butter, then add the chicken once it's hot. Brown the chicken.
- Cut the bell pepper and onion.
- Drizzle garlic sauce over the tortilla, then layer it with spinach leaves. Add the chicken and vegetables, roll up and eat.
Tips
- You can make fresh tortillas for cheap and they'll taste way better than store bought. However I'm kinda bad at making them and it's a bit of a hassle, obviously.
- You can replace the chicken with falafel for an easy vegetarian variant. No marinade then, obviously.
