Green Beans
Ingredients
- Green Beans (fresh)
- Sesame Seeds
- Sunflower Seeds
- MSG
Preparation
- Set a pot of water to boil.
- Break/cut the green beans into manageable pieces. Cut off the pointy ends and remove the thin string they have on their side.
- Let the green beans boil for about 6 minutes. They should be softened up, but not mushy.
- While the green beans are boiling, roast the sesame and sunflower seeds. Do this in a small pan with no added oil or butter. Keep an eye on them. Once the pan warms, flip frequently. Once the seeds start browning, they'll burn quickly.
- Take the beans off the fire and strain them. Sprinkle MSG over them and toss so they are evenly coated. Add the seeds and toss until evenly coated.
