TRANSCRIPT BEGINNING NARRATION

NARRATION: Link and his friends defeated Cia and her legions, returning peace to Hyrule. But that peace would be short-lived. At the moment when Link drew the Master Sword from its pedestal... he had inadvertently broken the seal on the last spirit fragment's prison, setting it free to unite with the others. His spirit made whole, Ganondorf was reborn.

NARRATION: His first act was to return to Gerudo Desert, the center of his power in Hyrule Once there, he summoned the spirits of Zant and Ghirahim from their imprisonment to serve him. Finally, Ganondorf would hold the complete Triforce in his hands and wield its full power. Knowing his enemies were approaching, he built a stronghold in Gerudo Desert for the coming battles. With Zant and Ghirahim at his side, Ganondorf was poised to conquer Hyrule. The future was bleak for the forces of light.

TRANSCRIPT BEGINNING CUTSCENE

A 3D animated cutscene plays. Ganondorf stands alone in the desert. The camera rapidly zooms in on his face, after which he summons Ghirahim and Zant to his side. They kneel.

GANONDORF: Follow my every command, or else perish again.

Ghirahim and Zant nod. Ganondorf raises a fist.

GANONDORF: Come. The Triforce shall be MINE!

TRANSCRIPT BATTLE

ZANT: The first thing we should do is give them a demonstration of our might!

GANONDORF: Very well. Show off our strength by scattering the monsters plaguing the nearby villages.

GHIRAHIM: Allow me to gain control of the building to the north. Its aesthetic... speaks to me.

LIZALFOS: Hss... Scheming!

LIZALFOS: Keh... Fools! Destroy!

ZANT: Claiming the keeps should dirve out the monsters from the village as well.

[The South Desert Keep, Oasis Keep, and Central Keep open. Lizalfos begins gathering monsters inside the Settlement.]

LIZALFOS: Keh! Gather allies!

ZANT: It would appear that these primitive creatures are getting stronger... Hurry! Take their keeps!

[After capturing one keep.]

ZANT: Hiding in your little keeps cannot protect you from our awesome might!

[Lizalfos begin advancing from the Northern Desert to the Southern Desert, where the keeps are.]

LIZALFOS: Noise from the sssssouth... Investigate!

GHIRAHIM: The monsters in the northern desert are aware of us. I'll stop them!

[If you fail to stop the Lizalfos from reaching the Southern Desert.]

LIZALFOS: Keep in danger! Protectsssss it!

[After capturing two keeps.]

ZANT: It appears we have but one keep left to claim. Let's take it immediately!

[After capturing all three keeps, the Settlement Entrance East Gate opens.]

LIZALFOS: Keh! Allies defeated! Revenge!

ZANT: It appears that the vermin have come out... A good opportunity to take the settlement.

[Prison Guards appear in front of the prisons and begin to prepare to open the prisons.]

LIZALFOS: Release prisonerssss! Make them fightsssss for usssss!

ZANT: Ah, they intend to use their prisoners against us. Perhaps we could control them instead...

GHIRAHIM: Instriguing... Allow me to discuss the matter with the northern captives.

ZANT: Marvelous. Then I shall speak with the southern captives.

ZANT: They are but mindless animals. I will have no trouble dispatching them.

[After defeating one Prison Guard and releasing the prisoners, which are Darknuts.]

DARKNUT: We shall serve.

GANONDORF: YOU. You shall be my servant...

[After defeating the second Prison Guard and releasing the prisoners.]

DARKNUT: But... why?!

GANONDORF: Your life is mine to with as I please.

[After defeating all Prison Guards.]

GHIRAHIM: Hear me, creatures! Serve our Lord Ganon if you desire an honorable existence!

DARKNUT: Help!

GANONDORF: Now be a good dog and do as your master commands.

[After capturing the North Settlement.]

ZANT: Yes, this should be their final curtain call. We can finish them by taking this last keep.

[After capturing the South Settlement as well.]

GANONDORF: Such weaklings...

AERALFOS: Kya! Noise from outside!

LIZALFOS: Hssss... Shadows approaching...

AERALFOS: Kya! Protect territory!

[Most gates leading to the Sacred Grounds entrance open. The Arbiter's Grounds gate remains closed. Monster Forces begin advancing toward Ganondorf's Forces.]

GANONDORF: Have the worms come out to play? Heh, lovely...

[Monsters appear in the Arbiter's Grounds.]

AERALFOS: Feh! Tear to pieces!

GANONDORF: Hmmm... Playing the fool, are we...?

[After defeating all Aeralfos at the Sacred Grounds.]

GANONDORF: Hmm. Small progress...

[King Dodongo appears.]

GANONDORF: Ah, it appears that this desert is just crawling with beasts.

ZANT: That beast is no match for you, my lord!

GHIRAHIM: My lord, we must gather around the beast. We'll show it just how inferior it truly is!

[Gohma and Manhandla appear.]

GHIRAHIM: Ah, I didn't know such a beast still existed in a place like this. How quaint.

GANONDORF: If we slay it, the rest of the vermin will fall in line.

GHIRAHIM: Seeing those two together is quite a sight. I could watch this sort of violence all day!

ZANT: The master of the desert is not my primary enemy...

[After defeating one of the Giant Bosses.]

ZANT: At least one of the vermin has been disposed of. Let's take care of the remaining enemies.

[After defeating two of the Bosses.]

GHIRAHIM: How do they expect to defeat us? It's almost an unfair fight... by which I mean it truly is.

[After defeating all of the Bosses, the battle ends.]

ZANT: Now THIS is the power of a god!

GHIRAHIM: Ganondorf reminds me of my lord, Demise... May his reign never cease!

GANONDORF: This resistance was pitiful, but oh well. Not every battle can be one worth retelling.
