Hyrule Warriors Transcripts

I've been unable to find a text dump or robust collection of Hyrule Warriors dialogue, so I'm making it a bit of a project to document it myself. I cannot rip the text straight from the game folders, so this is simply what I've been able to gather from playing the game. As such, it will be incomplete and subject to human error. I just figure it's better than nothing.

If anyone has any documentation on HW dialogue that they are willing to share, please contact me at thatotheronethatiuse@gmail.com. I want textdumps, screenshots, videos, pretty much anything directly sourced from the game. My focus is on Hyrule Warriors: Definitive Edition, but I'd also appreciate documentation from other versions of the game. I am not looking for dialogue from Age of Calamity or the upcoming Age of Imprisonment.

EDIT 9/12/2025: It's seeming increasingly likely to me that for some reason the Switch version of Hyrule Warriors: Definitive Edition has had a number of battlefield lines cut. As this is currently the only version I have access to, these transcripts will reflect this. I do hope to find a way around this without trawling through gameplay videos but we'll see.

In addition to the story maps, I'm aiming to transcribe the dialogue of the following characters:

I'd still appreciate being sent dialogue of other characters, and after I finish these characters up, I might decide to do more. But for now, these characters are my focus.

I will be providing screenshots of the character-specific battle lines, as they are random and may be hard to verify otherwise. I will not be providing screenshots of the story map dialogue, because honestly transferring screenshots from the Switch is a pain and I don't want to. The story mode dialogue is scripted and therefore consistent and easy to verify.
